Kingston Boosts Netbooks with High-Performance HyperX Memory
by Keifu on Mar.07, 2009, under Forum, General
Kingston, world’s largest memory manufacturer, has decided to expand its HyperX line to include modules for notebooks as well. Kingston’s HyperX 2GB DDR2 SO-DIMM module is specified to operate at 533MHz with 3-3-3-8 memory latencies and Kingston does mention the fast growing netbook market as a possible target group. Netbooks are often poorly endowed on the memory front and Kingston’s new module will adjust automatically to its more aggressive timings even with a netbook platform.
